Aylsford is a project where SKJ Steel Services designed, fabricated, painted and installed all the works. Given a short time frame 85 tons was added to the existing building to give a lot more size, space, strength and access within the building. This project was fabricated in just 4 weeks and installed in another 4 weeks, making this project a very quick turn around meeting all our client’s needs. On install our SKJ site team, set out all column studding drilled and set them prior to installation, this is very important or could throw out all the steel. The SKJ site team had a tricky install, this is where their IPAF skills came in and managed to manoeuvre around the existing building to get all beams, columns and braces into place. The whole project went smoothly and very happy with the results.
